Like most people, I have always strived to become a success.

My parents told me, "Go to college, get a good job, be successful!"

Unfortunately life didn't unfold quite the way I had envisioned. I went to college, I couldn't find a good job, and I spent more than a decade trying to survive. I woke up one day to find myself with a wife and four children, and just barely 30 years old.

From a financial standpoint, I was in struggling. To put it mildly, I was in serious trouble. It was at this point that I realized, in order to succeed, I had to push myself to become a more valuable person. I needed to become a leader in my field. I needed to excel beyond the average. I needed to progress to the next level.

My career didn't advance until I changed my mindset. I could no longer cling to the attitude of "just doing enough to get by."

Once I developed a new mindset, I quickly progressed to the General Manager position of a reputable business.  With focus and consistency, I earned the right to a promotion to a Training Manager, an Area Manager and eventually to a Regional Director of Operations.

I have presently put this part of my career on hold, to pursue a desire of mine,  to begin a career in coaching.  My goal is to help others shorten their learning curve. Why should you have to go through all the same headaches that I put myself through?
